Southridge Racing has been putting on races for 17 years now, and doing a fine job of it!

At the end of every race season an Official Awards Banquet is held in honor of those who achieved good results over the past season. KHS, being  one of the “PLATINUM SPONSORS” for this event, was there in attendance.

This years ceremonies were held at the regular venue, being the “Banquet Hall” at the Indian Hills Golf Club in Riverside, CA .

There were many Trophies and “Winners Plates” awarded at the banquet, and  a good time was had by all.

All  the “Platinum Sponsors” , Azonic, KHS, Toby Henderson Enterprises, ODI and Romic were  in attendance  to accept their “Sponsorship Plaques” awarded to them as tokens of appreciation for their support of  Southridge Racing.

Logan Binggeli took the “NUMBER ONE” plate, and the overall win for KHS in the Pro Mountain Cross discipline. He raced consistently at the Winter Series and insured himself the win with all his top 4 finishes.

I managed to capture an overall 4th place finish in the Pro Downhill for KHS. I was only too happy to get my name sandwiched between the likes of Rich Houseman and Aaron Gwin, and a really good finish for me at Fontana, where the Pro class is always stacked!

Chuck Valenzuela took top honors in the Vet Pro DH for KHS  – Valenzuela had a good season out in the trenches of Fontana.

This was a fun moment as all the class winners with their “NUMBER ONE” plates, trophies and jersey’s, took a bow for the media.

There was over $30, 000 in prizes given away during the product raffle on Sunday… quite amazing!

KHS chipped in their fair share as a “Platinum Sponsor” and gave away a 2009 Lucky 7 to one lucky winner.

SDG USA gave away a custom 50cc dirt-bike.

The two big prize winners were amongst these seven ticket holders for the Lucky 7 and SDG dirt-bike drawing… these were some anxious moments for these guy’s!

The lucky winners and their prizes!!

A toast to Don Jackson for making all this possible!

KHS would like to extend a huge thanks to its 2008 sponsors for helping us make this the great season it was.

Our next stop will be at the premiere of BNC’s latest production,  “PINNED”.

KHS is a sponsor of this production, and we will be at the Dainese USA headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA, January 4th, 2009. We will be there with our race trailer displaying some of our 2009 mountain bike line up.

Come and join us for the world premiere of this production – there will also be a product raffle.

Please stay tuned for more updates and photos as they become available.

All the best,

Q.
